Bronchial Asthma is a medical condition in which person’s airways become inflamed, narrow and swell, produce extra mucus which causes coughing and difficulty in breathing.

Asthma can be minor or it can interfere with daily activities. In some cases, it may be lead to life-threatening attacks.
How does it happen?
Normal air is inhaled via nose and mouth, and multiple air passages deliver the air to your lungs. But in asthma, due to inflammation, there is mucus collection in the air passages making them narrow. When a person comes across something that triggers hypersensitivity reaction in the lungs and air passages, the air passages constrict (narrow down further) causing asthma attacks.
